Learning Community

As a youth-focused facility, the Denver Tennis Park is committed to supporting the elevation of tennis instruction for youth in our community. The DTP Learning Community is designed to provide educational resources and opportunities for coaches in the Denver-area. Through the Learning Community, we engage with coaches of all levels – from existing professionals and high school coaches to school teachers and volunteers – as well as recruit and train new coaches who are eager to get involved and make an impact!

Denver tennis park coaches and staff stack their racquets together with tennis balls inbetween. Some raise their other arms in a fist pump.

Through collaborations with United States Tennis Association (USTA), United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA),  Colorado High School Athletic Association (CHSAA), and others, we hold guest speakers and learning opportunities 5-6 times a year.

To-date, we have co-hosted events featuring Greg Patton (USA National Collegiate Tennis Coach), Paul Wardlaw and Drew Eberly (University of Denver Women’s & Men’s tennis head coaches, respectively), and Emma Doyla (former professional player, tennis coach, and author).
