Ken Tronco

Director of Youth Programs

My Story

Denver Tennis Park (DTP) is excited to announce the appointment of Ken Tronco as its new Director of Youth Programs. A highly respected coach and leader in the Colorado tennis community, Tronco brings more than a decade of experience in player development, program growth, and community engagement to the role.

Tronco most recently served as Director of Tennis at Eastmoor Swim & Tennis Club, where he doubled adult league participation and grew the state’s largest Junior Team Tennis (JTT) program, serving 135–150 players annually. His achievements earned him the E.L. Griffey Award from the Colorado Tennis Association in 2022, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the sport. In addition, he currently serves as Junior Team Tennis Chair for the Colorado Tennis Association, guiding statewide youth tennis strategy and overseeing Colorado’s largest JTT program.

Tronco’s coaching journey also includes leading the boys’ tennis program at Poudre High School in Fort Collins, where he developed players who went on to qualify for state competitions, as well as serving on the coaching staff at Denver Tennis Park since 2023. His background reflects both technical expertise and a deep commitment to building character and confidence in young athletes.

In his new role at DTP, Tronco will oversee all youth programming, strengthening the ROGY pathway (Red–Orange–Green–Yellow), expanding participation among Denver’s diverse communities, and embedding DTP’s HEART values – Humility, Effort, Attitude, Respect, and Teamwork – across every program. With his proven record of leadership and passion for youth development, Tronco is poised to elevate DTP’s youth initiatives and inspire the next generation of players.
