
My Story
Mike brings a strong background in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, and youth development to his role as Director of Development and Marketing at the Denver Tennis Park. Having grown up in Colorado, Mike has spent much of his career working within mission-driven organizations focused on strengthening communities, developing leaders, and expanding access to opportunity. His professional experience includes leadership roles with organizations such as the YMCA, the American Diabetes Association, and Colorado Gives Foundation, where he specialized in leadership development, donor engagement, and charitable giving.

In his role at Denver Tennis Park, Mike leads fundraising, marketing, and communications efforts that advance the organization’s mission to provide equitable access to tennis as a tool for youth development. He works closely with organizational leadership to build sustainable revenue through individual giving, corporate partnerships, grants, and special events, while also guiding storytelling and outreach efforts that connect donors and participants to DTP’s impact. Mike is passionate about demonstrating how investment in tennis can drive social connection, physical and mental wellness, character development, and long-term success for young people.

Mike’s connection to tennis is rooted in his upbringing in Littleton, where he competed as a ranked junior player and later continued his involvement at Colorado State University. He brings more than ten years of on court coaching experience working with youth, high school and adults across a wide range of abilities. This unique perspective informs his development work, allowing him to authentically connect mission, programs, and community impact.

Mike is RSPA, USTA, and PTR credentialed and SafePlay certified. He is driven by the belief that strong nonprofit organizations, supported by engaged communities, can create lasting change for kids and families throughout Denver.
