My Story
Gabe Vicuña is an experienced operations leader with more than a decade of managing high-volume tennis and golf facilities across nonprofit and private environments. He currently serves as Director of Operations at Denver Tennis Park, a role he has held since 2018, where he oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization and facility with a strong focus on safety, compliance, accessibility, and customer experience.

In his role, Gabe leads facility maintenance, vendor coordination, IT systems, HR processes, payroll, and financial operations in partnership with external contractors and the executive team. He supervises, hires, trains, and evaluates more than 50 staff members and plays a key role in budgeting, reporting, and long-term facility planning. Gabe also works closely with program directors to ensure the successful delivery of tournaments, events, and youth and adult programming, while serving as a primary liaison to University of Denver tennis teams and a wide range of community partners.

Prior to joining Denver Tennis Park, Gabe held leadership roles at Gates Tennis Center and the JCC Tennis Center, where he managed staff, facility operations, retail inventory, and large-scale events. Earlier in his career, he worked in tournament operations at Fossil Trace Golf Club, further strengthening his background in event execution and guest experience.
Gabe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Performance with an emphasis in Sports Industry Operations from Metropolitan State University of Denver. He is known for his operational expertise, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to creating safe, welcoming, and well-run facilities for the community.
