Ed Anderson
Director of Strategic Partnership and Adult Programs
My Story
Ed Anderson is the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Adult Programs. Anderson brings decades of experience in tennis leadership, adult program development, and education, along with a proven record of building strong community partnerships across Colorado.

Anderson has played an integral role at DTP since 2023, recently as Adult Program & Events Manager and member of the Executive Leadership Team. In these roles, he created and expanded adult programs, including lessons, leagues, and drills. Prior to joining DTP, he served as Director of the Gates Tennis Center, where he oversaw all staff, operations, and facilities, fostering a welcoming culture and strengthening community engagement.

In addition to his work in tennis, Anderson is a 37-year veteran educator and spent nearly two decades as a Social Studies teacher and Department Chair at Chaparral High School, where he guided students, mentored colleagues, and coordinated professional development programs.

Anderson was instrumental in launching the tennis program at Denver Public Schools’ Lincoln High School. His leadership created new opportunities for students to compete, grow, and experience the lifelong benefits of tennis. His leadership has also been recognized beyond the classroom and court: Anderson serves as the Vice President of USTA Colorado Executive Board, was honored with the 2025 RSPA Intermountain Award for Industry Excellence for his contributions to the sport and was most recently inducted into the Chaparral High School Hall of Fame.

As Director of Strategic Partnerships and Adult Programs, Anderson will focus on expanding adult programming, deepening DTP’s community connections, and advancing its mission of making tennis accessible and impactful for all. His expertise and passion for relationship-building will ensure that DTP continues to thrive as a hub for both tennis and community.
