Programas para jóvenes
DTP se dedica a formar campeones para toda la vida. Priorizamos la creación de un ambiente divertido, positivo y entusiasta. Cada día enseñamos desarrollo del carácter, desarrollo atlético y tenis con un enfoque integral centrado en el niño. Nos adherimos al programa ROGY de la USTA, reconocido a nivel nacional: progresión de pelotas roja, naranja, verde y amarilla. Al utilizar equipamiento y dimensiones de cancha adecuadas para cada edad y etapa, los jóvenes jugadores pueden desarrollar habilidades avanzadas más rápidamente, ganar confianza y, lo más importante, ¡divertirse!

INFORMACIÓN DE REGISTRO PARA JÓVENES
Inscripción a la sesión
El pago completo se debe realizar al momento de la inscripción para las clases seleccionadas durante el período. Inscríbase únicamente en las clases y los días en que tenga disponibilidad durante el período de inscripción.
Se aplicará un cargo administrativo y de procesamiento no reembolsable de $25 sobre el pago total por cada inscripción a la clase.
Una vez finalizado el plazo de inscripción, revisamos todas las solicitudes de clases y determinamos la asignación de plazas.
Si recibimos más solicitudes que plazas disponibles, haremos todo lo posible (aunque sin garantía) por asignar a los estudiantes a una clase. De esta manera, aseguramos que todos tengan la oportunidad de participar.
Colocación
Todos los jugadores serán notificados antes de que comiencen las clases.
Las personas que no sean seleccionadas para las clases durante el período de inscripción serán añadidas a la lista de espera y tendrán derecho a un reembolso completo.
La fecha límite para darse de baja de una sesión será a las 11:59 p. m., siete (7) días antes del inicio de la sesión inscrita, para recibir el crédito en la cuenta DTP (menos la tarifa administrativa y de procesamiento de $25 por cada clase cancelada).
Las listas de clase se cerrarán después de la fecha límite para darse de baja. Después de esta fecha, DTP solo podrá emitir un crédito en su cuenta (menos la tarifa administrativa y de procesamiento de $25 por cada clase cancelada) SI logramos cubrir su lugar con alguien de la lista de espera.

Ausencia
Si nos avisas de tu ausencia con al menos un día de antelación, podemos ofrecerte la opción de recuperar el partido y ceder tu plaza a otro jugador.
Constituir
Si bien no podemos garantizar las clases de recuperación, haremos todo lo posible por adaptarnos a sus necesidades según la disponibilidad. Las clases de recuperación deben realizarse dentro de la misma sesión y no se pueden acumular.

Elementary School
Little Aces Age 4-5
This fun and engaging program helps young players build coordination, balance, and fundamental movement skills through games and interactive activities. Players will develop basic sending and receiving skills while gaining confidence, listening skills, and a love of being active. Little Aces provides a strong foundation for future tennis participation and success in a wide variety of sports.

Elementary Red Ball Instructional Age 6-8
This fun and engaging program introduces the fundamentals of tennis, including rallying, receiving, serving, and scoring through games and age appropriate activities. Players will build confidence, improve coordination, and develop the skills needed to enjoy the game and prepare for the next level of play.
Players are placed on the appropriate court based on their age and skill level following a coach assessment on the first day of class.

Elementary Orange Ball Instructional Age 8-11
Orange Ball Instructional is designed for players of all experience levels, whether they are just beginning or preparing for Orange Ball tournament play. Players will build strong fundamentals for every stroke, improve rally consistency and confidence, and develop the skills and strategies needed for match play.
Players are placed on the appropriate court based on their age and skill level following a coach assessment on the first day of class.

Elementary Green Ball Instructional Age 10-12
Green Ball Instructional is designed for beginner to lower intermediate players who are ready to build on their tennis fundamentals. Players will improve rally consistency, refine their strokes, develop match play skills, and learn basic strategy. As players progress, they will focus on greater consistency, advanced shot making, and improved footwork.
Players are placed on the appropriate court based on their age and skill level following a coach assessment on the first day of class.

Middle School
Middle School Instructional Age 11-14
This class will build tennis FUNdamentals by working on stroke development, footwork and rally consistency. We use a game-based approach to build confidence and have fun each day. A goal of this group will be to introduce competition and get match-play ready. The players in this group will range from entry level to lower intermediate players.

Middle School Green Ball Intermediate Age 10-12
Middle School Intermediate Development Program 10-12 Green Ball was created for early middle school players who are already competing in JTT or tournaments. Players should be able to keep score, serve consistently, and have an 8-10 ball rally with a peer. Students will work on technique, footwork, strategy, and match play. These classes will use Green Ball to support player development.

Middle School Yellow Ball Intermediate Age 12-14
Middle School Intermediate Development Program 13-14 Yellow Ball was created for older middle school players who are already competing in JTT or tournaments. Players should be able to keep score, serve consistently, and have an 8-10 ball rally with a peer. Students will work on technique, footwork, strategy, and match play. These classes will use Yellow Ball to support each player’s development.

Middle School Tournament Team Age 11-14
Tournament Team is for the strong tournament player (Level 6 or 7 USTA Tournaments) who has a 100% reliable UTR of 2.0-4.0. Varsity level high school players can also receive approval for participation. The Tournament Team includes both middle school and high school players who meet the requirements. Players will work on advanced footwork, strategy, and tournament preparation through point play, drills, fitness, and mental skills. DTP Manager approval is required for participation.

High School
High School Instructional Age 14-18
High School classes build confidence through rallying, sending and receiving skills, and core tennis fundamentals, all in a fun, game-based environment. Perfect for new players to beginners who are ready to rally, play points, or take their first steps toward JV.

High School Intermediate Age 14-18
High School Intermediate Development Program was created for high school players who are competing for school teams, JTT, or tournaments. Students in this class should have dependable strokes, consistent serve and return abilities, and basic singles and doubles strategy. Students will work on tennis skills such as technique, footwork, strategy, and doubles match play.

Tournament Team Age 14-18
Tournament Team is for the strong tournament player (Level 6 or 7 USTA Tournaments) who has a 100% reliable UTR of 2.0-4.0. This class is for the strong tournament player (Level 1-6 tournaments) who has a 100% reliable Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 4 or higher. The Advanced Development Program includes both middle school and high school players who meet the requirements. Players will work on advanced footwork, strategy, and tournament preparation with point play, drills, fitness, and mental skills. DTP Manager approval is required for participation in Advanced Development Program.
